Help a voomer out please :(

I have spent the entire day trying to figure out the 942 box on the internet. The question that I have is:

will it record two hd shows at once?

2 satellite HD shows, but not 2 antenna shows.

and if you want you can record 2 satellite shows and your antenna show all at once.

I hate to say this but the website leaves a lot to the imagination. So are all local stations OTA Antenna?

The reason I ask is that cox in my area has hd locals and can record two at once on the dvr that they have.

The only way you'll get your local stations in HD with dish is by using an off-air antenna (exactly like you did with voom)

But dish also provides locals in SD on the dish, but I don't think an HD viewer will find those useful.

it will be able to record 2 sat & 1 ota chan at once.. 3 seperate tuners: 2sat 1ota

Big big thanks everyone. Satelliteguys has a ton of great information AND very helpful people like you! I spent hours on the dish and dtv site only to get more and more confused about what exactly the product would and would not do.
