I've tried Dish tech support and they are next to worthless, so here goes...
I have a 222k hooked up to 2 TVS, TV1 is connected via HDMI and TV2 is connected via Home Distribution COAX. Since this box was new it has had intermittent problems where it just stops sending a signal to TV2. I tried the common sense method of scanning for channels on TV2 and changing the modulator settings. None of that worked. What did work, was rebooting the receiver and forcing it into the new "Setup Wizard" and restoring everything, magically TV2 worked again. Until about a month later when it would just stop working again. I have used this "reset process" about 3 times now and it worked like a charm-UNTIL NOW. My best guess is there was a software update that removed the Setup Wizard as I can no longer access it. Anyone know of a trick to get in there (MENU, 6, 1, 3, next, next, HELP doesn't work on this box either) Could it be the Triplexer or Diplexer? Should I bite the bullet and pay a tech to come look at it?
Thanks in advance for any help.
