As the topic title said, my 103 sat for HD channels consistently goes from signal level in the mid 80's to 0 for a few minutes. Now my question is why, and why only the 103 Sat.

I have already repositioned my Dish and have good signal everywhere.

I do have the B band converters installed, and I do not think these are the issue, as it happens on every TV set throughout the house. I find it hard to believe that I have 8 bad converters.

So this leads me to my multiswitch. Could this be the issue? Is it more than likely the issue? It's a Zenwell WB68 4x8 multiswitch.

Any suggestions on things to try will be greatly appreciated.

You mean i5t's a WB68 6x8 multiswitch.
IF you feel that that is the problem, and it very well may be, thats easy enough to check. Bypass the MS , go directly from the LNB 's to the receivers, another thing to think about, what condition is the cable and the fitting in, but seeing you said it's that way on all the rec's they are probably OK.
Don't forget to check the Ground block connections as well.

Thanks Jimbo,

I will try bypassing the Multiswitch.

Outside the house, there are two, 2 port ground posts under the dish. The four RG6 cables from the dish terminate on one side of the posts and the four cables going to the multiswitch terminate on the other side. I just double checked and those posts are not grounded.

So, should I try first replacing those posts, as they've been outside for a while and are a little weathered?

Should I run a ground cable from those poses to my Com-Ed ground? (It's about a 40 foot run)

Usually, if the aim is right (90's and up on most, including 103c) and this problem remains, it is a bad switch or lnb, assuming all wiring and connections are in good condition.
