I'm "from" KC...as in, I grew up and have family there. I've lived in Chicago the past 16 years, though.

Still make regular pilgrimages to Smokestack of Martin City (now known as Jack Stack BBQ, but I prefer its old moniker)--my favorite restaurant in the world.
