HDTV & Standard TV

Hi all,

I am about to upgarde to HDTV. My question is, can i still use the standard Directv signal in other room with regular (CRT) TVs while having a HDTV in my family room?

yes you can, as long as you have a standard receiver in your other room.

I have an hr10-250 (HDTIVO) in my living room and a d10 standard receiver in my bedroom.

You could put a 2nd HD receiver in your 2nd room if you wanted the OTA signals. Just use the analog output instead of the digital output from the D* HD receiver into the analog TV. The OTA signals look much better than the D* locals even on an analog TV!
