Hdmi ?

With all the talk about bad hdmi outputs on the 622 I was wondering if there was a way to check mine since my HDTV does not have HDMI. My 622 is currently hooked up with component cables .

Want to make sure hdmi jack is good so if and when I get a new HDTV with hdmi I will be good to go. My 622 is less than a week old and working great so far except for the occasional check switch bug.

I think you have a one year warranty, but ff your really concerned, I'd take it somewhere there's a TV with HDMI and test it. Please keep in mind however, that the HDMI port may work at first and only fail later. Mine work for about 2-3 weeks before it failed.

When mine failed, I had the unit replaced. The replacement 622 HDMI port failed within a week!

I am using the component ports now without a hitch.
