HDMI to component Adapter

Perhaps the HDMI to DVI is the easiest route.
TV Life would be much better without HDCP.

I'm using a Kanex converter to connect the HDMI out from a Joey to my TV which only has component input. It works well except for programs protected by HDCP (looks like the channels using this protection is growing).

Interesting, I would have thought it would support HDCP. It looks more and more like I'll just go with my HDMI / DVI adapter, and just not watch channels that enforce HDCP (or at least not in HD). Or go with a Hopper in that room!

This converter goes from HDMI to component. It supports hdcp. I don't own one myself, but they get good reviews. They're a bit pricey too.
