Hdcp error on 4K 540 channel

I was wondering why an hdcp error comes up on the 4K channels and then blacks out the channel after a about 30 secs or so

This is a now longstanding issue that Dish has created and apparently has yet to fix. There is a channel up/down workaround that used to work for me, but it didn’t work during the recent MLB ASG.

I am finding that if I leave the HDCP error up for a minute or so it seems to clear on its own. Most of the time anyway.

During the all star game, I unplugged and replugged the hdmi cable and that cleared the error.

I shouldn’t have to get up out of my chair to resolve a Dish-created error.

I spoke to Dish when this originally started and even told them which update did it. Still not fixed.

That's what happened to me last night. Strange!
