HD VOD VIP612?

Recently had to send my VIP612 back because of audio issues. I had several VOD movies all in SD on the defective model. Since I got the replacement it is downloading movies to VOD again but it looks like they are in SD. My question: Does anyone with a VIP612 on the Eastern Arc have HD VOD movies? Not talking about 1080p HD. Just regular VOD in HD. These are the movies on Channel 501.

I know the 622 doesn't support the HD VOD (except the 1080p) due to hard drive space. I believe the 612 is basically a "single mode" 622, possibly having the same size drive... AFAIK, the 722 (w/ larger drive) is the only HD VOD machine...
