hd version of some channels are red in the guide

the following channels are availbale to PR in SD and the HD channel is also available, but red in the guide:

DIY - Satellite 110
H2 - Satellite 110
CBSSN - Satellite 119
SPMAN - Satellite 110
NFLRZ - Satellite 119
AMERI - Satellite 110
COOK - Satellite 110
HMC - Satellite 110
STYLE - Satellite 110

maybe a DIRT can verify why these HD channels are not open to PR subs even when the SD version is available? the HD version appears red in the guide, even with the hoppers. thanks!

those look to be on the CONUS beam.....isnt it the only HD you can sub to the channels on the PR spotbeam only?

there are from ConUS and from spotbeam, ConUS like ENCORE HD, STARZ! EDGE HD, STARZ! WEST HD, TMC-E HD, etc, even the SD versions are ConUS

Can you be more specific. When you say these channels are available in SD, are you saying they have always been, or just showed up?

The SD versions has been available as long as I can remember them. Even some of these HD channels were available before in PR, and, inexplicably, they were taken away. There are no technical reasons why they can't be activated, since they are perfectly visible for us. ESPN, AXS, HDNMV, SYFY, TNT, HBO-E, etc. are all HD CONUS channels we get right now, so it is not an issue that we are not permitted to subscribe to CONUS channels.
Last I checked, we are talking about 12 HD channels we could immediately receive, if someone at DISH should (could, would??) authorize the "switch-flip".
