I had the installer out this weekend to do my upgrade. Apparently no one took the time to look at my account to see that with the number of boxes I have (4 rooms, one with Tivo) that I'd need a new multi-switch. Result was a wasted Saturday and an unhappy installer yesterday who had to brave some extra cold temps to install my dish.
Moral of the story is be sure to inquire about whether or not you need a new multi switch when you put in your order.
