HD Receiver question!

I bought my receiver from D about May of this year. It is a Samsung SIR-TS160. I have heard people talk about their receivers and upgrades that they ahve recently received. I have only gotten one up grade and that was in June. Is my receiver too old or what. I have had no problems with picture quality. Just wondering....

More than likely, unless there is a serious issue, or an upgrade is necessary to receive additional programming, there will be no further updates to older receivers such as yours.

It's not that "OLD" of a receiver. Same as you, I have received only one update months ago but as far as I'm concerned, none is needed, works Great!

As long as it's working like it's supposed to, and it's capable of getting the satellites that you need to get, then I wouldn't worry about it.

I have a Hughes HTL-HD and I hope to keep it for a long while.
