I recently got the HD package from Dish Network and I love it but I was wondering about if it's really HD? When I watch a live sporting event or something I'm sure it's really HD but what about movies? When they show The Godfather or The Wizard of OZ is this truly HD or am I seeing an upscaled DVD image? Since neither of these films have been remastered in HD to my knowledge (I can't get them on HD-DVD or Blu Ray) are they really a 1080 image? What about things like Happy Feet on HBO. Am I seeing the Blue Ray (or HD-DVD) image or just the DVD upscaled for broadcast? How about Blue Planet? What content is really HD and what programs are just upscaled (or is all of this truly HD)?
Just wondering what I'm really seeing on the HD Dish. Thanks:)

Just trust your eyes. Godfather on A&E was streched upconvert probably. I didnt see it but they have not shown a movie in hd yet. If you saw Wizard of Oz on tbs hd, we are all waiting for somekind of hd on that channel. Since the baesball playoffs were the only thing in hd on that channel.
