HD picture now looks washed out.....

I don't know if it's just my eye sight or not, but for the past couple of days the my HD channels look washed out. Even HGTV, which normally has very bright and vibrant colors, now seems very dull looking compared to before. And StarzHD seems to be very dark. Has anyone else noticed this since the 622 update.

It reminds me of my old 811 using HDMI.

The 811 has DVI not HDMI.

What kind of HDTV do you have? Might be your bulb is getting ready to burn out.

HDMI/DVI feed has always looked washed out on any device that ever used. I always had to calibrate the HDTV inputs. Therefore, I stay away from it and use component. No more calibration.

Actually I am using component now that I switched to the 622. But I have only noticed this during the past couple of days.

I have a Hitachi 57S500 RPT.

For awhile like the past week the hd looked really go but not not as good anymore.
I usually can compare my pq with the pq on all the walmart HD sets which are direct and they did not look good tonight either. One of the off brand lcd tvs looked really bad for HD>
My SD really suck lately.
