Hi all,

Just switch from U-verse to Direct, and my HD from Direct is fuzzy, can you guys help?

HR24-500 and HR24-100,

Deca installed.

Whole house DVR:confused:

Something's definitely not right. DirecTV's HD looks great (though there is naturally some variation by channel). First thing I would check is the output resolution setting on the receiver -- make sure it's not sitting on 480i or 480p.

Yea, you need Component or better & definitely check your boxes front window to make sure it's either 1080i or 1080p. If these are all OK, check your signal strength on your 99 &/or103 birds. These should all be in the 90's.

:p

Hi All,

Thanks for the great input, I had the Direct tv tech out to my house, and he found that when the installer made the cables he left copper strands touching the center conductor, picture looks really good.

Thanks :)
