HD Locals?

The website form direcTV seems unclear. If you are able to get your locals digitaly from direcTV can you get the distant HD feeds or do you still need waviers etc...?
 
"Reallity" is just as unclear.

The answer is yes and no.

At this point in time... it is much more heavily NO, and will continue to be the case as we get closer to the HR20 release.

If you find a good CSR, who understands the rules, and you have an HR10-250... then they should activate the Distant MPEG2-HD networks.... If your waivers are approved.

But since the begining of the year, we have seen more and more and more posts about people's waivers being denied.
