HD Locals for Charleston, WVa. viewing area

I live in Flatwoods. I have tried to use an antenna to get my HD locals. But they are very poor reception.

Call Directv and see if you can get the NY channels.

He'll only be able to get ABC and FOX from NY. NBC, and CBS won't sign a waiver.

Probably, 2 is better than none. I got them back when they weren't broadcasting in HD at all.

When Directv told you that the HD channels are not available they probably meant on their satellite system and was not referring to OTA HD.

Were you talking to me? If so, then no I had NY HD channels back when they first came online and that was before the locals here started broadcasting. CBS-NY was the first one and it came on for the Super Bowl, I think is was 4 years ago if I am not mistaken.
