HD games w/ST

I'm new and I'm sure this question has already been asked. But, here goes. I upgraded to HD in Dec 04. Main reason was to get the NFL games in HD with ST. If iI understand what I'm reading. The ST games will only be in SD and I have to get the "Super Fan" to get the HD games. IS this correct?

Yes however you may be able to call in and get the fee waived... You may have to call multiple times to not only find CSR's who speak english well but also know that the HD games are part of the superfan not included... then you might get them to add it for ya.

Be sure to ask them about the interactive features of the superfan pkg. then ask if YOUR model HD receiver is compatible with those features. If they say NO, this may lead to a great chance at getting that fee waived.

I was just told they would swap out my SD receivers but they don't have an HD one for the interactive part of superfan. They also offered $49 only no discount. I did not push or say I was canceling yet but I may.

The new H20 receiver is the first HD box that has interactive services on it. However it is not released yet but scheduled for sometime in August. You can pre-order one at ValueElectronics: http://www.valueelectronics.com/avstc.htm
