I currently subscribe to AT250 and Platinum with HD250 for life. I was automatically converted to HD for LIfe and I do not have any commitment, yes I am on autopay and paperless billing have been for ever.

We are contemplating changing our package (primarily economics and the fact that out of 250 channels we may consistently watch a dozen and maybe up to 25 or so occasionally) Knowing that Dish has some pretty weird rules and that they are not always easy to find out about I have one basic question:

If I downgrade my package will it have any affect on HD for Life?

I went from Top 120 (with free HD for Life) to Top 250, and then after a month back down to Top 120. I never lost my free HD package during the changes.

If you downgraded to one of the Dish America HD only packages, you would lose your HD for Life, assuming at some time in the future you wanted to upgrade to AT plus HD.

Autopay hbo 3 months free?

WOW Good job Dish
