I guess you needed to keep it for 1 full month.I just got my bill and was hit with a $10 "Premium Channel Cancellation Fee" when I dropped the HD Extra Pack a couple of weeks ago.
I had it for a year since last June when I had Directv installed.
I just called them and it turns out when I cancelled the HD Extra Pack, the CSR accidently added and then deleted a premium channel instead which caused the charge. They said she should have caught it but didn't. So they credited me the $10 back.

Hey fellas. Question for you. Just wanted to confirm, this HD Extra Pack only includes the following channels: HDNet Movies, MGM HD, Smithsonian HD and Universal HD. Is that it? Am I missing any?
I've been paying $4.99 a month for this for quite some time and I finally realized I barely ever watch these channels. If this is all it includes, I may opt to save the cash...
