HD DVR Tivo release date?

Release date is pushed back again!!

I have been reading these postings for a while and finally decided to jump in.
I have a friend working in GoodGuys Concord. I just talk to him and the shipment is postponed one more time until 04/19 they will have in the stores by 4/20-4/21, but short on shipments and if you did not preorder or if you do not have a friend working in one of the stores you are screwed until next month.
Also to reconfirm I think SolidSignal.com has it at the same date as well as pdf of user manual, which is pretty cool, you can see what features are added as well as what comes in the box.

Release Dat is Pushed Back Again

For those who pre-ordered from Value Electronics and are in the first 175 or so pre-orders the latest release date posted is 4/15 or 16. This is only the latest of several delays--we'll see what happens on Thursday or Friday!

Circuit City HD TIVO

I was at Circuit City in Flint, MI. yesterday and the D* rep was there and said that CC and BB would both be getting shipments of the initial orders of HDTIVO units when they are released next week. He said he saw that in writing.

Delay again hope everyone is not pissed as much as I am

Couple of sources:
1. GoodGuys friend just told me from their system the shipment will not be there until 28th of April
2. SolidSignal.com has this to say
Per our latest conversation with Hughes, they have announced a further delay in shipment of the HR10-250. Hughes predicts this unexpected delay to extend no further than May 1, 2003. While information from Hughes is sparse, we have been able to gather some pertinent information with regards to the initial shipment: (1) Production of the HR10-250 was not as steadfast as initially planned (2) Expected initial delivery quantities may not be met.
We will post any further creditable information from Hughes as it becomes available.

Got my tracking # today and due for delivery on 5/4, but the last two digits of my zip got transposed, I hope they (UPS) are smart enough to figure it out and get it to me on the right day!

Some people at TC are saying that they bought them early this morning and got shipping confirmation today. However they sold out quickly.
