HD DVD ? saving to Drive

I want to take HD DVD's I buy and save them to a Hard Drive. Then I take the HD with me and can watch movies on laptop or play from PC to TV.

Is it possible to save the HD DVD to a HD and how would I do it? I tried using the xbox360 HD DVD drive I have for this and no luck.

The studios do not want you to do this but you can now by using a program like BackupHDDVD. The encryption algorithm has not been cracked like CSS was on DVD but they figured out what the encryption algorithm uses off the disk. Its called the unique volume key.

With BackupHDDVD and the unique volume key (Most hd-dvd keys are around the net) you can get the movie onto disk. Serenity for example is about 20gb.

to all....mods especially (o:
as this was closed in the pub and I can not post why I aksed the questions i was not trying to hack and pirate hd dvd's I just wanted to save them to my external hard drive and then take themthe drive with me when I travel and watch on laptop. I can not get the xbox360 hd dvd player to play on my dell laptop. It starts but turns off in the intro. The laptop will do 1900x1200 and should look great.

So again I was not looking to pirate anything just save it to my external hard drive.
