This is funny
I tried Vista RC1 again yesterday w/ media player 11. I have an Athlon dual core 64 bit 3800 processor w/ 2 gig of ram...With Nothing else running, I tried to play a DVD with media player...VIsta refused and saidf I needed to free up more ram...JOKE????
Bigger Joke...CNN Money says Amazon is taking pre-orders for the thing....like other MS releases...driver problems will be around for quite a while.
RC1 had no drivers for even AC97 audio! Trying to D/L betas from the realtek site was a disaster...26mb for sound drivers!
Staying with XP1 (and Mac OSX!)

RAM is important but hardware for the past 6 years or so have no issues running XP. Even with hardware a few months old Vista bogged it down. There's lots of reasons this OS is 2 years delayed.
