Hd channels with dish

Noticed that Dish doesn't have PBS hd in my channel lineup. Also no hsn or qvc in hd also . U verse has all of these in hd. So why is dish behind in HD ??

Well if you want them in HD maybe you should switch to U verse instead of asking questions about limited interest services.

Depends on the market for PBS. Only 2 of the 3 I receive are in HD. QVC has to pay Dish for space, they probably didn't want to fork over more money for the HD feed.

Depends on the market for PBS. Only 2 of the 3 I receive are in HD.

Right, just like in OUR market DISH has ALL 3 of our PBS's in HD - go figure!
BUT, D* AND U-verse only carry 2 of our 3 in HD; furthermore, U-verse does NOT carry 1 of our 3 even in SD!

As far as QVC & HSN in HD - WHY is anyone even ASKING & who cares...

PBS IS in HD! I have here in Oregon, both SD and HD are listed-you might search your guide very carefully it may show up in a 4 number configueration like 96XX
Also check with Dish it may not be available in your location.
