This a great time for all of us D* subs. It is to bad that I now have to get ready to leave for work.

All I can say now is bring on round 2!!!!

Now we can get full use of our tv's..this is a great day. Now we have nothing to argue about till October what will we do to fill the void.

Not bad so far.. ..of course its 7am so half of the stuff isn't even in HD... but its nice to know that the rollout has begun...
I really wish though this had started before I got Halo 3...

but i have a problem I am not getting NFL, BTN, TBS, Smithsoinian, Discovery, Anammal, TWC, or the VSGF what ever that is

what package do you sub to? that might be the reason. on the directv website, it will tell you which of the new hd channels you'll get with each package! :)

That is Bull Sh!T. When I upgraded the CSR told me no upgrade to my package was necessary. Now I have to upgrade my god danm package! I had no commitment but had to sign up for 2 years when I upgraded. Sorry, but this is bait and switch plain and simple. I am now stuck for 2 f@cking years or I have to upgrade to a different package. I flat out got screwed by Directv. Trust me a call to Direct retention is being placed when I calm down. Pure CRAP

I agree Sharpie...these are also some of the channels that customers should have been receiving two years ago. It's amazing how people will kiss ass when being thrown a bone after having been starved and mistreated the past 2 1/2 years. Go figure! I doubt any of these poeple will recover without intense therapy.

If you get the SD version of an available HD channel you will receive the HD without upgrading.

Then where are they I see no HD on Weather Channel (360), or others. I have Total Choice Plus programming. What the hell? Calming down some but still pissed.

I had the weather channel HD this morning and I have the same package. I forget the channel number.

If you have your guide set to custom you will not see the HD channels . Go back in and add the hd channels to your custom list. I saw no Hd today till I selected all channels in my favorites.

it goes back to the packages because there are hd versions of sd channels, only available with total choice plus. so if you didn't get the sd version before, you won't get the hd version now. i thought that had been pretty clear since the git go.

The Weather Channel is 362, once you are there hit the Channel Up button and the HD should pop up.

As mentioned if your using favorites you need to update your list. TWC is 362 and I have Total Choice Plus with HD Access TWC HD is viewable.
