While watching the Jerk Saturday on an HD movie channel, the sound in one channel went out. I have all four outputs hooked up, it was on all of them. Other channels were fine.
On Sunday watching TNT-HD, the picture went out. It was brown, not black. Regular TNT was fine. It went out once and came back after a few seconds. The second time it was more like two minutes, I finally switched to the regular TNT so don't know exactly how long.
It hasn't happened for a two weeks now, but it seems like once a week I was getting the “Please insert valid access card” message. It was bad because the SO was recording an educational show and it got her twice. I'm not happy if baby isn't happy.
I just saw the Direct offer trying to get Dish users to switch. I got an offer to switch to Dish and am really considering it, even if it's just for a year.
