HD-20 White Remote Stopped Working

Long story short

- White Remote for IR was primary remote
- Received a RF white remote in mail today, went through programming instructions and it didn't work
- Reset receiver back to IR and now the original white remote doesn't work
-Followed the instructions for the IR remote and tried codes 00001 and 00002 and it doesn't work.

Any ideas on how to simply get the IF remote to turn on/off the HD receiver?

Did you have the RF antenna connected to the back of the HR20 when you tried RF?

It doesn't sound like you actually switched the receiver back to IR.

when in the menu you see either RF or IR, you have to click on one to reveal both. then select IR, the receiver doesn't actually change to IR until you press DONE.
