HBO movies to Archos

Is there a way to copy HBO & Max movies from the DVR to an Archos 605? It always shows copy protection errors.

Not sure about HBO but I have Encore and had downloaded several movies to my Archos 605 with no trouble. Not sure if it has something to do with HBO movies being newer or not.

I trust you are trying to transfer SD content, and not HD content.

Copy or move ? There's a difference... I don't know how Archos works. I'll about bet money that HBO has copy-protection flags saying "copy-once". From the broadcast to the DVR counts as your (1). Does the Archos ignore copy-protection flags when *moving* ? It could and would be "legal" that way. Only (1) copy of the program will exist this way.

You cannot copy or move HBO or Cinemax programs to archos. The only way you can do it is buy the DVR docking station and record the shows in real time.
