Having perused through the EPG for the next week, it seems that Cinemax will provide a nice variety to the other movie channels. A lot more movies. A HUGE enhancement to my overall monthly programming.

Watching Field of Dreams right now, haven't seen it in years.

Two different times I surfed by MAX-HD while old movies were on expecting SD, but both times the movie was in HD. Nice surprise!

Darn it, I knew that and forgot to program the DVR before I left. Oh well, next time.
:(

Now I have an excuse to convince my wife to let me get a slingbox ;)

V FOR VENDETTA 4.0 stars. I thought that this was a very good story and a very good action film. I liked the way the story unfolds. It does have a kind of implication that reminds us about living with fear whether authenty or not. I remember all those false post 911 alarms and think if the writers of this movie use some of that to come up with the story.

Over the Hedge 4.0 stars very good animated movie. The story and characters makes you laugh and keep you interested. Nice to watch with the family.

Waist Deep 1.5 stars too predictable.

BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE 3.5 stars This was a very good movie. The story itself is very moving. Excellent to watch.

X-Men the last stand. 1.5 stars. Ok. I had to watch because I was curious but I think they should stop making these movies. They offer very little and the story is not very good. It looks like it may continue the way it ended.

4 stars? Not in my household. Nobody liked it; not even my 9 year-old. I think the only non-Pixar cartoon that has been a hit in our family as of late was the one with Martin lawrence as the Bear.... mmm... Open Season. That got laughs.
