Have updates for the 522 stopped?

I noticed that my in-law's 625 had some new features that my 522 didn't have. I was wondering if Dish has stopped updates for the 522 or will the 625 just have some options and features that my 522 will not have from now on. ( not talking about the VOD features)

The 522 and 625 were starting new update version #L3.83 on Sept.22/06.
Check the two receivers for what version they have.
The version prior to L3.83 was L3.81.

They are updating at the same time. Updates are rolled out in phases to blocks of receivers. Receivers in the same household may not update at the same time, depending on which block that particular receiver is in.

When the models are technically same - using same software - they have different size of disks 120 vs 250 GB and 625 capable of VOD feature. That's the difference.
