Started setting up a new ViP722k with a DPP 1K.2. A few HD channels show up in the channel guide, but not all of the channels listed in the GoldHD package. I'm locked on to both 110 and 119, but cannot find a signal for 129. The Point Dish screen doesn't give any Az/El/Skew settings for my zip (95350) with satellite 129 selected. Do I even need to tune in to 129?

Thanks, Bobby, I figured.

So, is it just a tweak or twist of the dish to pick up 129? The dish is set at roughly 154, 45, 82 and is locked on 110 and 119. What should I adjust to get all three signals?

Try putting your vip receiver on point dish screen select 129 satellite and cover the 110 and 119 lnbs with aluminum foil and try aiming for 129 only, you may need to bring your elevation up or down just a hair maybe half a degree it is hard to get 129 on any dish 1000 . 110 and 119 are easy to hit w=hen you are aiming.

You can't just put it on 129, you'll never find a signal. The receiver does not know where 129 is at in the switch matrix. So make an adjustment and check switch...each time until it shows a signal for 129 in the switch matrix. Then peak it.

Cover both of the outer lnb's with aluminum foil and then be sure you are seeing 119 on the middle lnb.

My guess is you are seeing 119 on the far left lnb and 110 on the center one and the right one is looking in to space about 101.

Turn the dish 10-12 degrees west (right) and drop the elevation 2-3 degrees and I'll bet you find all three.

Use the foil on the lnb trick until you get 119 on the center lnb, then remove the foil and tweak the dish to maximize (balance) all three signals.
