I hooked my 22khz switch between my satellite for galaxy 19 and hispansat 30w I seen my quality went way down for my Jewish 1 news transponder and the rest stay the same or went down very little. Any ideas?

Unless there is a bad connection somewhere, a 22k switch should have no real effect on signal quality.

What LNBF types are you using (standard, universal, or bandstacked)?

Bandstacked LNBs use higher frequencies for stacked TPs, and therefore require all components in the signal path to be capable of passing up to 2.1 ghz without rolloff. Are the new cables rated at that figure or higher? Also, is the switch rated at that figure or higher?

all the cables are RG-6 i should put in a higher splitter from the one thats pointed at galaxy 19.

Splitter or 22k switch? They look similar, so make sure its a switch. I'd go with at least 2.1 ghz frequency passing hardware and cables. The cables should have the frequency rating stamped on them.

Ecoda 22k switches, for example, are rated for 950-2150 mhz (2150 mhz = 2.1 ghz). Most RG-6 used by DirecTV and Dish these days is rated for up to 3 ghz.

not all RG6 is created equal, all decent RG6 will have the freq rating on it as well as a spectrum plot of signal loss's at various frequencies.

Ive had good luck with encoda and spaun switch's (encoda's are much more affordable)
