K7AAR here, good idea Mike. I am having fum with 2 meters and IRLP, anyone else using IRLP?
Are any of you Ham guys on ECHOLINK or Skype? I can down load it and see if we can make a sked, I would enjoy talking to someone about FTA, everyone who asks what am I doing when I am aligning my dish thinks I am an alien, they want to know if I can reach Mars.

I ran an EchoLink node for years...took it down about 3 years ago because of non-use. Our repeater system is just laying dormant. I've not been on the radio but once or twice this whole year. I'm QRV on 6 SSB and 2/440 SSB and FM, but my low band antenna installation still isn't finished but it's close. We need to have a net on 40 meters sometime...maybe that will motivate me to finish getting my antenna installed... :)

When I remarried in 2005 I downsized and sold most of the radio equipment because I didn't have the room. I'm now down to a single radio...a Yaesu FT857 HF-VHF-UHF all mode. My shack looked like this back in 2004...

I gave my area ham club an FTA demo back in 2003...there was a lot of interest but not many partakers. I used the present day G19 KU band as the demo sat.
