H24 work OK with SD only 18" Dish (101)?

Im getting my tailgate stuff ready and was just going to get a D12, but H24 is pretty cheap used and I can get it.

I bought the 18" rv kit with tripod that just aims at 101 and gets all your channels in SD.

Make sure the H24 is owned, not leased.

Found a reliable seller on Ebay selling owned and clean H24's taken from a business. Grabbed one.

yep, it will work, just go in to satellite settings and set it to "round 18-inch"

and also set it to multiswitch and not SWM

Using one as I type this. Preparing to move so my slimline has been taken down and packed, using a temp 18" on a home made "I" stand/platform.

Just setup. PITA with directv for 30 mins, but it works.

PQ is pretty good on 39", will be great at ball games and easy to setup.
