IMO a wifi reciever would not be any good or worth the money for development considering the SWiM system and MOCA.... Broadband over cable is proven to be reliable and powerful. And so far since I have had the entire system running it has worked flawlessly be it VOD, MediaShare, or whole home dvr. Coupled with high bandwith cable internet it runs like a dream.
IMO the wi-fi addition has to do with Wireless Cinema Connection Kit. In the owners manual for the CCK-W it gives instructions on how to connect your receiver wirelessly to your network using the CCK-K. Now my only question is,having the CCK-W hooked up to your DECA network, does it allow you to set up each receiver to connect to your wireless router,or would you need a CCK-W connected to each receiver(1 per receiver). My last question would be could you have both the wired broadband adapter & the CCK-W hooked up together & let each of your receivers choose in the set-up whether to go wired or wireless? I know the question would be "why have both?" I just say,"why not(if it is possible)?"
