H20-100 not locking the 103 satellite

I have a H20-100 getting 771 error. I have tried everything from replacing the BBC converter, to moving my H20-600 to the room where the 100 is to make sure it wasnt the cable. I even tried moving the cable around on the WB616 switch to make usre it was not a bad output on the switch. Nothing has helped. My H20-600 works fine so could it possibly be a bad reciever?

Yes it could if one works on that setup and the other doesn't.

I called D* yesterday and they're sending me a new reciever.

This happens to me about every 3 weeks. I just un plug the receiver wait a minute for everything to clean and plug it back it. Then everything works for weeks. Strange.

The normal reset or red button does not fix it. You have to pull the power.

I had tried replacing the BBCs, that did not help.
