I did this update on one of my receivers and it seems to work great. I have an already planned service call next week because of problems with Caller Id on all my receivers and not getting signal on a 2 of my channels. Not sure if I should leave it at the CE update Version or go back to the National Version? What should I do?

It doesn't matter, chances are the tech will run thru the set up and re install the updated software anyways, you will then be on the "NR" you can then re update it on the next CE, or tell him that you don't want him to install the current updates, but you might have to explain yourself at that point.
I did that once when something I felt was important to me came on the CE, I told him I did not want him to change the software, I showed him the new stuff and he was impressed, didn't know about any of it at the time.
