H and V poliarity on same freq..

im on amc 5 and did a blind scan.. the reciver picked up h and v on this transponder

Sounds like your dish is off some.. that's a DBS transponder. You're probably catching Nimiq2 at 82.

because circular is actually transmitted on both V and H, just 180 degrees out of phase.. so yes, it is both on V and H, but your only picking up half the stream.

thats weird cauz i can point to 110 and 119 with out any probs.. using the wonderfull invacom.. thinking i was getting a hint on another bird too...
