Guide Issue?

My guide has started to show a lot of channels that are not in my favorites guide. I did a restart and it did not help. I also tried to update my software from H325, but it would not update. I checked my favorites several times and the channels showing in my guide is not in my favorites. I am now getting all the shopping channels, a lot of Dish info channels, etc. in my guide.

Any ideas?

Put a password on your receiver, then you can lock out the channels you never watch and as Dish adds new channels you can either leave them in the guide or lock them out.

I have created three favorite groups on my two Hopper3 receivers and I have not seen any additional channels showing up.
Are you sure your Guide is using your favorites and not the none group.

You can hit the Guide button twice to pick which group is being used.

1) None - has all subscribed channels
2) Locals - has my 71 OTA channels
3) News - has all of the Dish news channels
4) Dave - has my favorite channels

I have had software version H330 since 11/22/22

That fixed it - thanks. I don't know what made it change though.

Mine changes periodically. It may be when it does a firmware update or loses power or whatever, but it does happen.
