They are not done yet, this is just the beginning.

The lack of real integration and a real dual tuner ota module will kill the hopper for me. Of course in a couple of years they might just release a true 6 tuner hopper that has ota module and then I might look into it. Till then I'll stay with my 722k and two 211ks.
wow, i didn't realize it would be that wide. I would have guessed at least 25% went 2 hoppers.I was told that less the 2% of the installed hopper base has two hoppers. I am sure that number will climb over time.
satjay said:I though it would be about 25% percent as well. Keep in mind though when you call for example in my case a Two Hopper/One Joey set up, you really had to plead your case for that set up, I am happy that I have that set up
Same here. They kept telling me I didn't need two. I had a 922 and two 722's. I don't know why they would equate that to one hopper and three joeys.
$199 is not a huge price though. I think it's a very fair price for what you get.
How much sis a two terabyte hard drive today? If you just think about that itself it makes it worth it.

The average American home now has 2.86 televisions and just 2.5 people, according to a new survey by Nielsen. The number of TVs jumped from 1.57 in 1975 to 2.43 in 2000 as the Internet gained popularity. The number of units per home continued to grow through the 2000s, but more slowly.

Is prime time anytime used on the reserved portion of the hard drive or is it part of the one terabyte the user has available?

Yeah I know everyone wants everything FREE FREE FREE these days, but like you and I we don't work or make stuff for free. So again I think $199 for a second Hopper is incredibly fair!
Well considering that these boxes cost upwards of $449 a piece to own, $199 for a second Hopper is pretty fair, even if it is leased... Then there's the Joeys for $149 a piece. I think that $199 was pretty fair for my 2H/2J setup. PS3 has gotten cheaper because it is using 5 year old technology... My PS3 when I got it on launch day was $600!
