Blind scanning away here on ku, trying to find the Auburn backhaul for espn, since I couldn't locate it on cband...and my motor has given up. I made it from AMC6 to Amc 16, and when I went to 91, no bars on the Occasional use transponder. Went out to the motorized primestar dish, it was still looking at AMC16. Pushing on the dish, the shaft was loose and the dish would go all the way over to the east and flop.
Something broke I suppose lol . So much for the superjack , got 2yrs out of it though.
Well, I will watch c-band and whitesprings tonite, aint gonna fool with the swap out after dark. Luckily I have a (used) spare motor to install.

Yeah I'm complaining lol. For backup systems, I can still access c-band on AMC6 with my latest project, the fixed-dish on that bird for NASA, plus I have another primestar fixed on AMC4, and my moveable c-band 10' system. And another primestar on 123 if I wanna go outside and plug the cable into the switch lol. I won't miss too much tonite, hehe.

ball bearings

Took the thing off and pulled out the tube this morning, no damage except for one ball bearing that had lost its balls. Prob never find another one like it, so I'll have some spare parts for a superjack2 18" for awhile. But, the older motor I got with the 7.5perfect 10dish last year, old and rusty, works better than the SJ !!!

its a superjack 18 " it just so happens i have a broke one
the housing that holds the motor on the shaft arm broke ( motor is good) (no sensor)
post us a photo and i will look when i get home and see if it matches

also sadouns sells just the motor for like 25 + s&h

Missed your message gabs i will try to make a picture Monday. It was the tube--nothing wrong with the motor. There's a ball bearing in there close to where the tube bottoms out in the motor housing and it tore up somehow. Maybe we can make up one working motor out of our parts, lol.
