Directv sent me an replacement receiver for my defective r15. It's an r15-500, I was wondering if I should have upgraded to a hd dvr instead? Would they bill it on my account or lease it free of charge "since according to the rep I am one of their best customers." Also once I decide I want to get local channels, I am thinking about maybe chicago but I live near pittsburgh. Will the chicago spotbeam reach that far or where is the farthest it would reach? I live in the wheeling dma so I can't get locals natively yet. How do I go about getting these locals for whatever city I decide to get, can I still move my receiving address without changing my billing address? I don't get bills in the mail anymore if that matters.
