Exactly what I was going to say. Dish and Google Home are integrating more and more, all the time, so anything is possible
I don't see Charlie relinquishing control of Dish to Google. It wouldn't be Dish buying Google (they can't afford to), it'd be Google buying Dish.
Google is worth 730 billion, Charlie is worth 11 billion. Figure it out! 
I think we are overlooking an obvious thing here. "Google" is not talking to Dish, but I don't see anyone saying "Alphabet" is not talking to Dish.

A joint venture? Maybe. A merger? Not likely. Charlie isn't going to give up any control and Google's too big to acquiesce to Dish.

Maybe Charlie is going to use Google to buy a Tesla and some donuts.
Ugh! Krispy Kreme donuts are just plain nasty. I think ncted's comment was worth a whole lot more than that!
I don't say no to many donuts (and have the spare tire to prove it)
