Did not realize the Golf Channel had a HD version of the channel up and running.

Versus is up for hockey playoffs, been talked about in many threads. if you get Versus, you get the HD channel.

Comcast has the Golf channel in HD during the day and VersusHD after 7pm.

They can't possibly show golf in HD 24/7/365 can they?

No not 24/7 but Thurs and Fri rounds are in HD...from what I've been told they use the same cameras during the week as CBS and NBC do on the weekend.
