Gol TV

Well, I have decided to put the old RCA oval dish to work and from a previous post I saw that Gol TV is FTA.
Which sat carries GolTV so I can aim at it?
Will I be able to hook up the RCA dish to my Starchoice switch or do I need to use the Disec that came with the receiver?

GOL TV is on 110w If you use a DBS LNB Change the L.O. to 11250

Hi PSB, thanks. How about the switch? do I use the Starchoice one(2x2 LNB Stack) or the Disec that came with the receiver?

Not sure about the Starchoice switch so I would use the DiSEqC switch......

The switch that comes with the 2 beer can is a combiner...its basically a 22K switch...not a diseqc

You would need a DiseQc switch

actually...if you only hook the one to the LNB, you MIGHT be able to use the other port for the DBS satellite

try it....make sure the recever is powered off with the switch in back so not to do damage to the unit

Finally got around to adding the circular LNB to the Starchoice dish just as Iceberg suggested with a little spacer made with styrofoam and straped with zip ties.
Then connected it to the available connector in the switch that came with the dish (not the diseqc).
It worked immediately. Now I can watch GolTV without an extra dish and without having to re-aim the dish.
