Going on Vacation

I am going on vacation for 3 weeks, I am currently have a leased 622. I figure the cheapest package is as follows:

Top 100 29.99
HD Pack 20.00

Total 49.99

I also have 3 other receivers 501,501 & 510, anybody know if I can turn them off for 3 weeks and then activate them when I return.

Once a year, E* allows you to deactivate (actually suspend) your account (where they charge you $5 for a month for the whole account and will carry ZERO programming) for the period of the vacation and turn it back on when you come back. I've done that in the past and it worked well.

If you suppend your account your 622 can't record any of your shows while you are on vacation

Can you watch recordings on a 622 while the account is suspended?

You should be able to watch anything recorded. At least I could on receivers I had deactivated on my account.

Be careful if you are receiving promotional bill credits. If you put your account on "pause" you will forfeit any remaining credits.

I wondered because a friend canceled ,not suspended, his account and both his 508 and 522 would not allow playback of any of the recordings.
