Well, Sunday I signed up to give Sling TV a try. So far it looks interesting and will sure take a little time to get everything working. Everything new has a learning curve. Time will tell. Number one reason to join was the Mars series that is starting. Space nut here. Also having cut the Dish cord for over a year now, several of the channels offered are ones that I watched in the past. Number one bad reason is the problems involving not being able to do a recording without high added expense. When you consider that 95% of what I watch is a recording, this is a big issue. Unless there is copy protection in the signal, some one needs to create a "box" between the computer and the TV for recording. Something that does not cost an arm and a leg to pay for it.

. I'm on free trial too. So far I like it and will probably will keep it. I'm not too happy with their GUI but I'll get used to it. Your right about recording but at least they do have the VOD on each channel.
