Getting Sunday Ticket only?

I am a subscriber of Dish atm. I was wondering if its possible to get setup with Directv and subscribe to the sunday ticket only without any other packages or programming. I just would want to buy a receiver and a dish and just pay for sunday ticket and not use it for the rest of the year. Probably a stupid question because I cant imagine directv would do this, but you never know.

like mentioned above, nope. but, you can sub to the cheapest package and i believe you can suspend your account for a certain amount of time every year. i think hemi has done this before.

I think you can suspend your account for 6 months out of a 12 month period.
Remember , your commitment is NOT dropping during your suspended time frame.
