Forum 101 ?
Probably a first-time forum user.
They are daunting 'till ya catch on.
Don't know off hand where to find a tutorial.
Google, maybe?
Notice how the forum is broken into various main sections, then subsections.
For instance , DirecTV, Dish Network, and Free To Air.
That's near the top, and those are the main satellite areas.
Find an area of interest, enter it, look around and read the threads (discussions).
You can ask a question or post a comment in most any of the threads.
If you have a new and unique thing to bring up, you can start your own thread.
Probably best to start a thread if you are asking for help, as opposed to joining a thread where someone else is being helped. But that's just being polite.
Those are the basics of forum-life.
If you have a family member more acquainted with forums, get them to give you some initial guidance.
Not a big deal, in the long run.
