How do I get ppv with work with comcast Digital Voice on the r15?

On the d10?

there is another receiver that needs to dial out but i forget the model number. I had to pay a reconnect fee again on the 8th because it's not dialing in every so often I guess. My DVR keeps freezing every so often until I did a hard reset of all receivers from the website earlier this week that seemed to fix it. I can also now order ppv again but I need it to dial out or else I'm sure it will start to freeze again.

thanks for the help.

I have heard that you may have to contact them and request they enable data (as opposed to voice only) on your service, tell them you have a computer modem, or fax machine to save you time from explaining why your 'TV' has to dial out for D*, also they may not feel like helping knowing it's for D*.

I told the installer when he was here. He asked "what is this extra line for?" I said "for my directv receiver." He said ok. I figured it would work. I guess I was wrong.

Well, my suggestion may or may not help you, there is also some receivers and Voip services like vonage have something where you can put in pauses and "99", which tells it it's a data call i.e. "*99,12122773895,,,,,", into the dial string before the actual number (if it allows you to change it, change the 12122773895 in the example above to the actual number yours has).

Good luck and let us know..

where would I put *99? Into the receiver or into the settings for digital voice? Where would I go into the settings on the receiver to make it dial *99 before dialing the number?

You put it into the receivers if they allow it, as for the second question, I don't know, you'll have to see your users manual, that is if it even allows you to.

You need to put the *99, in the dialing prefix and then let it dial the #. The best thing to do is to pickup the phone and try it first.
Not all VOIP services are the same. I have Sun Rocket and you can not dial *99 on their service.

Mine has not dialed since 12/27. it is a Samsung SIR140, I can't even get this box to work with my PC like I do with my HR10-250

figured it out, the installer didn't connect the line from the receiver to the splitter.
